WARM BRIE WITH MAPLE APPLES, ALMONDS & THYME
Serves 1
  • Ingredients:
  • • One 8-ounce whole round Brie cheese
  • • 2 Honeycrisp apples – each apple cored and sliced into 8 wedges
  • • 4 tablespoons maple syrup
  • • 2 tablespoons white wine
  • • 6 sprigs fresh thyme
  • • Toasted silvered almonds
  • • Salt & freshly ground pepper

Instructions:

  1. Place the apple slices in a small baking dish that fits in your Air Fryer basket. Pour the wine and maple syrup over the apple slices, add 4 thyme sprigs and a pinch of salt and toss to coat. Cook the apples in your Air Fryer at 400ºF for 8 minutes, stir the apples, then cook for 5 minutes more or until the apples are caramelized and tender.
  2. Remove the apples from the Air Fryer and place a square of parchment paper in the Air Fryer basket. Place the whole Brie cheese on the parchment paper and air fry at 350ºF for 4 minutes, to soften the cheese.
  3. To serve, place the warm Brie on a serving platter. Top with the Maple Apples, pouring any juices from the pan over the apples. Garnish with toasted almonds and fresh thyme leaves.

Use apricots during the spring months, plums during the summer, pears in fall and apples for the cold winter season.
