Vegan Açaí Bowl

Acai Smoothie Bowl in the Kalorik Nutrition Blender

What's an açaí bowl, you ask? An açaí bowl is made of the tropical fruit açaí, which is rich in antioxidants. If you're in a pinch, this homemade, and very healthy, vegan Açaí Bowl recipe is perfect. Easily blend this mixture of blueberries, strawberries, bananas and nut butter for a refreshing morning treat.

Ingredients

2 ounces blueberries
ounces strawberries
1 banana
3 tablespoons almond milk (or non-dairy milk of choice)
1 package of açaí or pitaya
1 teaspoon nut butter
1 handful of ice

Toppings
Blueberries
Fresh sliced banana
Fresh sliced strawberries
Handful of almond slivers
1 teaspoon nut butter
Dash of cinnamon (to taste)

Instructions

1. Blend all ingredients together in your Kalorik Nutrition Blender. Use the pulse feature to avoid over-blending as this will change the consistency of your smoothie bowl.

2. Pour into a small bowl and top with fresh blueberries, banana, strawberries, almond slivers and a spoonful of nut butter.

3. Sprinkle cinnamon and dig in!
