Ingredients
1 cup matzah meal
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup boiling water
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
3 large eggs, beaten
1 tbsp poppy seeds
Directions
Preheat the air fryer or Kalorik MAXX Air Fryer Oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the matzah meal, salt, and sugar.
In a separate mixing bowl, beat the eggs and then add the vegetable oil and boiling water.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
Let the mixture sit for about 10 minutes, until it thickens and becomes more dough-like.
Using wet hands, form the mixture into 8 buns.
Place the buns in the air fryer or Kalorik MAXX Air Fryer Oven basket.
Brush the buns with water and sprinkle the poppy seeds on top.
Air fry the buns for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
Let the buns cool for a few minutes before serving.
