6 of Our Favorite Quick and Easy Indoor Grilling Recipes

Grilling is one of the most versatile and especially delicious cooking methods. You can't go wrong with classics like grilled chicken, grilled steak, and grilled shrimp. Even fresh fruit and veggies taste better grilled! Let's put it this way: there are very few things we don't like on the grill! In this roundup, we’re celebrating some of our favorite recipes to make in the Kalorik MAXX Air Fryer Oven Grill.

#1: The Perfect Steak

Grilling steak may seem intimidating, especially when everyone has a different opinion about how meals should be prepared. Sure, we can all agree on one objective: a caramelized well-browned exterior surrounding an interior of perfectly pink, juicy, tender meat that spans from edge to edge, but how to get there? Follow this easy recipe, where steak is seared to perfection on the MAXX Air Fryer Oven Grill, and you'll be a grill master in no time. You’ll want to begin by seasoning your steaks generously with salt, then placing them on your grill grate. Sear 4 to 5 minutes on each side and remove when your desired internal temperature is reached – 120°F for rare, 130°F for medium rare, and 140°F for medium. Rest your steak for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm, and as an added touch, top with herb butter and flake salt. Steak preparation’s best kept secret? Simplicity.

#2: The Bleu Burger

If you're looking for a gourmet burger recipe, this one's for you! The Bacon Bleu Burger takes regular hamburgers to a whole new level. With crisp air-fried bacon, a touch of honey, and tangy blue cheese crumbles, this flavorful burger will be the the most mouthwatering burger you’ll ever make at home. When the patties cook on the hot grill, the small bits of cheese within soften and render their flavor ever so slightly, making the patties a bit moister and much more interesting.  After grilling your burgers, toast your buns in the air frying basket in the Fast Air Fry position. Serve the burgers hot, on the toasted buns. Top with two slices of bacon and your favorite sauce.

#3: Easy Grilled Chicken

Avoid tough, dried out chicken and add this recipe to your repertoire. It’s relatively simple to prepare and makes flavorful, juicy chicken breasts every time. The perfect marinade is key, and is the foundation for our Easy Grilled Chicken recipe. This mixture of chili flakes, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil packs a picante punch that enhances the flavor profile of what can otherwise be a bland protein. Make sure to leave room for seconds!

#4: Grilled Salmon

This 20 minute recipe is a staple for any dinner routine. There's no healthier, easier, or faster grilled entrée than the perfect piece of salmon. It's an easy go-to when you’d like something nutritious, but don't want to spend much time in the kitchen. Serve this moist, tender fish with brown rice or a green salad, garnish with grilled lemon and voila, a meal to remember!

#5: Grilled Portabella Mushrooms

Portabella mushrooms hold a special place in our hearts. They have a wonderfully meaty texture and are loaded with umami flavor. Mushrooms retain quite a bit of moisture which makes them amazing to grill and turn into juicy plant-based steaks. If you're looking for more vegetarian dinner recipes to add to your rotation, you may want to give these portabella mushrooms a try. Use a combination of soy sauce, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, and honey to give them that added oomph.

#6 Grilled Pineapple

There’s nothing quite like grilled fruit, it adds a certain sophistication to any dish. This grilled pineapple recipe promises to do the same. Grilled pineapple is a great companion appetizer to almost anything you grill. Serve alone or add to salads or salsa. The addition of brown sugar after grilling is sheer guilt-free heaven by the mouthful — and, it’s a lighter way to indulge your sweet tooth.
